Reporting to Parents

Parents have the opportunity to discuss their child's progress with the class teacher during appointments on consultation evenings in October and February. Annual records of achievement are issued in July for all children. If your child has undertaken baseline tests, QCA year 2 or QCA year 4 tests, the results will be reported to you with this record of achievement about your child's progress.

A record of achievement is issued for each nursery child as they move into full-time education.

Teachers are pleased to talk to you about your child's progress and well-being at school on a less formal basis. We ask you to keep us informed of anything that may affect your child's happiness, attitude or ability to learn effectively at school. It is always possible to see either the class teacher or Headteacher by making an appointment or by calling into the classroom briefly at the end of the school day. As mentioned above, there is also the opportunity for you to visit your child?s classroom between 3.30 (key stage 2 3.35pm) and 4pm on the last Wednesday of each month.
