Parent School Partnership

We have a thriving PSA, registered as a charity, which organises social events for children and their families whilst raising funds. New committee members are always welcome to join in the fun and contribute to the life of the school.

Our partnership with parents is vital for the continuing success of our school. We are fortunate that parents help us in many practical ways including participation in everyday classroom activities as parent helpers, 'one-off' events, for example, when a parents speaks to a class or year group about their work, 'behind-the-scenes' support through fundraising events and parental involvement in their children's education by giving on-going support with homework and extra-curricular activities.

There are regular consultation events and Open Days which help parents to be fully involved in their child's education. One such link between school and parents is the regular opportunity for parents and carers to visit their child's class after school which takes place on the last Wednesday of every month. At this time work can be viewed and the children can take pride in showing their parents around their classroom
